Bulletin #74, Women’s Art register

The Bulletin is a twice-yearly publication which goes out to all Women’s Art Register members. Issue #74 of the Bulletin, guest edited by Sophia Cai, features artists working across knitting, crochet and other modes of fibre art, including Kate Just, Charlotte Drene, Wendy Wong, Teresa Lin, Reese Salmon, Renee So and Paula do Prado.

The edition explores how art making and activism are intrinsically connected and how, as Cai states in her editorial, “the utility and ubiquity of textiles makes them well-suited to the task of reflecting and commenting upon the urgent issues of our time”.

Included in the issue are three full patterns created by Just, Drene and Wong so that readers can recreate their pieces at home.
